On the night of Halloween, Jim Pearson is on his stag night in Broadgate, a seaside town famous for its sticks of rock, kiss-me-quick hats, dirty postcards, and the closed-down amusement park, Dreamworld.
When a leaflet advertising a spooky, midnight tour of the supposedly cursed amusement park flutters through the pub door and lands on their table, Jim jumps at the chance. Anything to avoid the infamous strip clubs along the promenade. Anything to get away from Gavin, his brother's boorish thug of a mate.
Across town, timid and shy Georgina is on a reluctant girls’ night out. When she catches the flyer on a sea breeze, she is also keen to do the tour. A haunted theme park sounds way more relaxing than being dragged to another trendy club…
