My commander told me to go on vacation or I’d be put in mandatory therapy. So vacation it is, being a Green Beret I live for the job. Maybe this could be fun, or maybe it will add to my PTSD. Then, I see her, she’s terribly out of place and nervous. Thankfully the only open seat in the bar is next to me.
April:
I’m so embarrassed and out of place. Being ditched by my bestie wasn’t really the girls weekend I had hoped for. But, I’m going to make the most of this disaster and have some fun. I may even get a little wild! Then I see him, the handsome stranger at the bar, I’m guessing military by the looks of him. How was I to know exactly how wild things can get?
