Meet the Bakers . . .

Mr. and Mrs. Baker always wanted children - so they went out and adopted 12 of them! There are Christine, Mark, Hilary, Olivia, Collette, Patty, Kenny, Howie, Kevin, Terry, Jack, and Dixie.

Now they have their own "Bakers' Dozen" and life in their big country home is never boring.

And meet Patty.

She's eight years old and the new kid in the family. Her mother died three years ago, and since then she hasn't had anyone to love her.

Now, because of the Bakers it looks like her luck has changed. But Patty's new sister Hilary makes it clear that she thinks the Baker family is large enough. And it looks like she'll do anything to get Patty sent away . . .
