Robot the Delivery Robot
(2020)(The second book in the Robot the Robot series)
A Story by Matt Youngmark
Frog and Toad meets Deep Space Nine! Robot has a package to deliver, but the guards insist that only boys can enter through one door, and only girls through the other. How can Robot explain that they're neither one, and why it shouldn't matter?
The Robot the Robot books are designed to teach the singular they pronoun. Many adults struggle to retrain their brains to get used to non-gendered pronouns, but there's no reason the next generation can't grow up with the singular they as a natural part of their speech, and Robot the Robot can help.
The ebook editions are optimized for tablet reading so the text appears large and readable on a Kindle Fire or iPad. Since they don't need the kindle software's text enlargement function, they use it to include pop-up definitions for more difficult words and secret messages instead!
Geared toward early readers, this is the first children's picture book from Chooseomatic Books and Arabella Grimsbro author Matt Youngmark.
Genre: Children's Fiction
