A Man to Sire My Baby
(2018)(The first book in the Nineteen Long Winters series)
A novel by C P Waterman and Chera Zade
Emma's husband Hugh, a handsome knight, dies under mysterious circumstances just two years into their marriage, leaving her alone and childless. Hugh's evil brother claims Hugh's lands, leaving Emma homeless unless she surrenders herself to him.
In front of witnesses, she attests that she is pregnant with Hugh's child, and therefore she can keep all his property to pass on to the child, provided it is a boy.
But it is a lie - Emma is merely buying time, and is not pregnant.
There is no time to lose. She has to find a man to get her pregnant so she can pass off the child as Hugh's heir. But how is she going to go about it?
