Carly Alexander

Roz Baileys publishing career began when she left a lucrative job in the insurance industry to work as an editorial assistant at Simon & Schuster. While there she worked her way up to senior editor, then worked at two other publishing houses before she became a full-time freelancer. Roz has written more than fifty books for women and young adult readers published under various pseudonyms. She has dabbled in writing for TV and film. Working as an associate producer, she developed two of the childrens books she edited into TV movies that aired on Showtime.

Rozs first chicklit novel, PARTY GIRLS, was published by Kensington Books in 2002 and received favorable reviews. The following summer GIRLS NIGHT OUT combined the reality show fervor with girlfriend humor. Rozs third novel, RETAIL THERAPY, follows two shopaholics on their adventures in shopping through the jumbled jungle of sales.

Roz loves theater, laughter, the color purple, walking on the beach, and dark chocolate with nuts. (Not necessarily in that order.) She attended Wagner College in Staten Island, NY, where she often returns for Homecoming games and tailgate parties. Roz had resided on both coasts and currently divides her time between Portland, Oregon and New York City. She loves visiting friends and family in Detroit, Baltimore, Bethany Beach, Washington D.C., Richmond, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
