Dogwood Donuts shop owner and amateur sleuth, Maggie Sharpe, is sad to see one of her best employees retire but has been impressed by the performance of her latest hire.
With her staffing issues settled, Maggie is relieved to get a referral for a wedding planner who happens to be related to her newest employee.
When she tries to get in touch with the planner, there’s no response, so, conscious of her quickly approaching wedding date, Maggie takes the initiative and goes to the woman’s house.
