Lindsay Kramer finally gets some well-deserved time off of work and is able to visit her parents in Shadow Bay. Halloween lovers that they are, they've got their annual Halloween party coming up and try to enlist Lindsay's help. Not the biggest fan of the holiday, she reluctantly agrees.
When her parents find out they've won a month-long cruise but have to leave immediately, they plead with Lindsay to host their party so they won't have to cancel the annual event, loved by all. Now, even more reluctant, Lindsay is on her own with only the help of a couple of intriguing locals that her parents brought in.
When a body is found during the party, Lindsay can't get in touch with her parents and has no choice but to close down the festivities and find a place to stay.
Things heat up when locals and the police start asking questions about Lindsay. She stands her ground and fights until the end, carving out her list of suspects like her dad's prized jack-o-lantern.
Will Lindsay save the day? Or will she find herself smack dab in the middle of a real-life horror story?
