Noah Camden is 23, a recent graduate of vocational college with a degree in small-engine mechanics, and utterly without job prospects in his small seaside tourist town. His luck seems to change when he stops to help an obviously wealthy man change a tire on the road. The man, Lloyd Peterson, offers him a job caring for his vehicles at Cliff House, the imposing manor on the nearby cliff, and chauffeuring his son Tristan around for the summer.
