Janine Amesta writes stories I want to re-read, watch on the big screen, and then re-read again. SHRUNKATION is a roller coaster adventure story that is fun and action-packed, but also deeply emotionally resonant. This sexy, marriage in trouble story is filled with sexy moments, death-defying feats of bravery, and humor that had me grinning the entire time. I was transported back to being a kid watching Honey, I Shrunk The Kids and hoping the two falling in love would kiss more...and this time, they did! Amesta has knocked it out of the park and I love this book—you will, too! —Denise Williams, USA Today Bestselling author of Just Our Luck

This was supposed to be a marriage-saving vacation. But the stakes just got bigger...literally.

Winning a dream vacation to an all-inclusive Cancun resort was supposed to be what Catalina and Trey needed to save a marriage that's on the brink of crumbling into pieces. But a relationship in trouble may be the least of their worries when they’re accidentally shrunk to a miniscule size by the sinister, technology-forward company, Mankind2Mars.

Their vacation turns into a thrilling adventure as their now tiny bodies must learn to navigate in a giant world. They must avoid the perils of being crushed while also escaping the clutches of enormous birds, crabs, and one very grumpy chimpanzee. Catalina and Trey have to work together to travel the vast, beachy landscape in order to find their way back to the resort in hopes the answer to regrowth is there. In doing so, will their love for each other expand even bigger than before?

This action-adventure rom-com is an exciting tale of true love and survival. It's a standalone novel that's a cross between Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and The Lost City. It features a marriage-in-trouble (relationship-in-crisis) between a himbo hero and a black cat Latina heroine. Fighting through nature's elements, they find way to reconnect, especially through a only one bed (seashell) situation. Please note: there is open door spice but this is great for readers looking for an fun beach read with no third act conflict and a HEA.
