Art is one of the few things that makes Riley Pierce’s life worth living. Earning enough from her paintings to keep the lights on isn’t always so easy, though. So, when a wealthy collector named Dr. Edmund Voss takes a liking to her work, it seems as if the door she’s been knocking at for years is finally poised to open.
But the paintings Dr. Voss has her create are far from ordinary. There is something malevolent within them. And with every piece she finishes, its grip on her world grows stronger. The line between art and reality begins to blur. So, too, the line between Riley and the entity who lives within the canvases.
To enter its surreal world will cost much more than her soul. And Riley is no longer sure she has a choice.
