Quest of Malice

(The tenth book in the Templar Knight series)
A novel by

In this newest Templar Knight Mystery, a servant of the Templar Order is murdered and Bascot de Marins aids in the ensuing investigation.

Just outside of Lincoln, a young lad employed on a property donated to the Templars is slain while driving a wain belonging to a neighbouring horse farm and Bascot, with the sheriff's son, Richard Camville, attempt to track down the killer. The trail is an elusive one - there is evidence that the crime has a link to the Holy Land, but discovering the connection proves difficult. The search leads down a confusing path; from Lincoln town to the port of Boston they interview pilgrims, interrogate suspects, and hunt down outlaws in the greenwood, but it is not until a hermit who lived in the forest near where the lad was killed discloses surprising new information that the answer is revealed.
