A famous author, town scandals, murder and… two corgis!
When the author, Maeve Hawthorn, rolls into Estes Park to have a meet and greet during the Cozy Corgi bookshop and bakery’s first ever book-signing event, Winifred and her staff pull out all the stops. Her grumpy sidekick, Watson, gets pulled unwillingly along for the ride. However, even his obstinate disposition cracks when the famous author brings along her own corgi. One with a tail!
As has come to be expected, the only thing that goes right with the event at the Cozy Corgi are the perfect pastries crafted by Winifred’s best friend and business partner, Katie. The fantastical world of fiction is set aside for real life drama, arguments, scandal, food fights, and ultimately… murder.
With Winifred’s assistant and hopeful author, Ben Pacheco, as a prime suspect, there’s a whole lot more on the line than simple publishing dreams. By the time Fred and Watson figure out this whodunit, the host of secrets revealed will be worth killing over.
