Weird Christmas Short Stories

Over the years, I’ve written a couple of short stories that I like to think capture the Christmas Spirit, but done in my own, whacked out fashion.

The first is “Jimmy Krinklepot and the White Rebs of Hayberry,” which is a re-imagining of a civil-war south, done steampunk style, from the perspective of a boy-genius inventor and his hapless minion. It’s tongue-in-cheek humor and satire, and all that I ask is that if you read it, you read Judge Davenport in Foghorn Leghorn’s voice. Trust me, it will work.

The second is a short sci-fi version of Santa’s workshop… in space. When you have an entire galaxy to deliver presents to, how could that possibly be accomplished?

So, from my household to yours, both a Merry Christmas and HAPPY HOLIDAYS to everyone who leans another direction. We’re all supposed to enjoy the holiday season, and I’m wishing the very best from all of us to all of you.
