When Mum Went to Work

Tells of the series of adventures that befall three children when their parents move to a big city and both go out to work. There are mishaps involving Crabbe, the cruel child-minder, a dog called Sharp-Fang, Sneyd the Butler and cousin Crystal, who didn't know one end of a child from the other.
