A continuation of the Eden Chronicles - The Forces on Eden are licking their wounds following their victory over the Strema. Their new allies and neighbors, the Jema, are free for the first time in a thousand years - and they want payback. The Jema are going to take the fight to the Kaerin on Chandra, with or without the help of Eden. Meanwhile on Earth, the dumpster fire continues to burn as Sir Geoff and Task Force Chrome are being hunted by the ISS and the military. The fight for freedom rages across three worlds and the one group that is capable of travelling between them is out gunned and outmanned.

I made the same mistake and finished it at 3.30am. As all devout readers know; it is rare the author who can develop a new world - J K Rowling being a most notable example and S M Anderson has with this story joined that elite few.
"As far as the concept, I won' go into the technical aspects...I leave those to others who are much better versed in the realities of Quantum Mechanics and such. What I will say is that, not since reading "Tunnel in the Sky" by Robert A. Heinlein (a Science Fiction Grand Master) as a young man, have I seen this concept treated so well.
"Considering that most books in this genre use a 'far-right' slant as their 'evil government', it's actually refreshing to see a well thought out and VERY topical backdrop that turns the tables. Snowflakes should take fair warning that they may not like the backdrop very much, but honestly, it's not a major component of the book other than providing the main characters with motivation."
"Atlas shrugged meets a David drake military scii thriller. Liked it and can't wait to read volume 2. Hilarious at times! Keep it up, Mr Anderson.
