Summer Begins

Summer Smith isn't one to make waves. In fact, she's spent most of her thirteen years avoiding center stage. And so when she writes an editorial for the school newspaper, Summer never expects to find herself in the limelight. When the paper comes out, her whole school goes into an uproar- the principal demands an apology, her teacher resigns, kids starting fighting in the halls, and the entire Christmas program is disrupted. Not only that, Summer is asked out by the gorgeous senior basketball star. Overnight, Summers world is turned upside down- and no matter what the outcome is, she'll never be able to hide from herself again.
