It was just supposed to be a few days on the water with fellow US Military Veterans and their families over Veterans Day weekend. That was until the storm came. A storm unlike anything they had seen before. The lifeboats hit the water as the cruise ship slipped below the waves.
Once the storm subsided, one lifeboat began to suspect that something had gone terribly wrong. They were no longer in the warm Caribbean waters, and even the stars were different. No radio contact either, which didn't make sense, they should at least be able to speak to the other lifeboats. Eventually, reality sets in as they find themselves marooned on a hostile shore with little hope of rescue. Lost to time's wastebasket is how they come to describe it, as they try to rebuild the soggy remains of their lives.
