A famous collection made about A.D. 1200 of old Icelandic poems on cosmogony, mythology and the tradition of Norse heroes. A key influence on JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Some light foxing and storage wear, but in very good condition considering its age.
