There's been another murder in Hallow's Bend. What is a powerless witch to do?

Ariel never wanted to be a witch, but now that her powers are missing she realizes she would do anything to get them back. Unfortunately, she may have to give up something big to restore them.

Meanwhile, trouble is brewing on the waters of Hallow's Bend. When a body drifts to shore, what starts as a quaint date with Ariel's beau, the town sheriff, quickly turns into yet another murder mystery for the two of them to solve.

It seems as if all of Ariel's answers are on the horizon - literally and metaphorically - and Ariel is going to have a big decision to make between her past and her future. She'll need to enlist the help of her hunky sheriff boyfriend, her friends, and her smart aleck cat, Dori, to solve the case and to help her regain her powers.

Ariel usually has a lot of people holding her hand when it comes to using magic, but now she'll have to figure out how to do something that's never been done before, or lose her powers forever.

Witching Me Softly is the sixth book in the Witches of the Pacific Northwest Series.
