Defiant Ones: Agent 355
(2026)(The eighth book in the Defiant Ones series)
A Story by Heather Blanton
History remembers the soldiers. It's time to remember the women who fought for liberty alongside them.
Before the American Revolution changed a nation, one woman was already discovering that some of the greatest acts of courage are carried out in secret.
Known only by the code number 355, a secret agent enters British-occupied New York as part of the Culper Spy Ring, using the very assumptions that cause others to underestimate her to gather intelligence for the Patriot cause. Working as a tavern maid, she listens, observes, passes coded messages, and risks everything to help information reach George Washington’s network.
But as British intelligence closes in, every secret becomes more dangerous. With her identity, marriage, and unborn child at risk, Agent 355 must decide how much she is willing to sacrifice for a freedom she may never live to see.
Inspired by the mystery of a real Revolutionary War spy, Defiant Ones: Agent 355 is a captivating historical novelette about faith, sacrifice, love, and the unseen courage of those who served without recognition or reward.
