The Hockey Stud
(2026)(The seventh book in the Boston Bay Vikings YoungBlood series)
A novel by Lexi Buchanan
A spinoff from the Boston Bay Vikings Series.
Set in the world of ice hockey, the story follows Dover Hilton, who has just started his rookie year as a forward on the Boston Bay Vikings' roster and wears jersey number 12.
Dover has found that his teammates don't care that he's gay. He keeps it private, but it's not a secret. He stays focused and gives everything he has on the ice. Unfortunately, a reporter outs him to the world, making him a target for more aggressive play by opposing team members.
Meanwhile, a man watches Dover from afar. His anger reaches an unreasonable level as he watches Dover race down the ice with the puck. He doesn't think Dover should be on the ice. Since the league won't do anything about it, he decides it's time to take matters into his own hands.
Security specialist Levi Dodge works with Rosie Hallen, whose husband wears the number 39 jersey. Levi has spent a lot of time around the team. His eyes always stray to one player in particular. However, it can't happen because the man is only twenty, while Levi is thirty-two.
For his own sanity, Levi decides to keep his distance. However, he finds himself constantly drawn back to the Vikings' arena when Dover starts receiving threatening notes and calls.
Maybe it's time to keep Dover close instead of pushing him awayhe'd be safer in Levi's arms, wouldn't he?
Genre: Romantic Suspense
