Midlife’s a beach, and then you move there.
What were they thinking? Hope had dragged them halfway across the country on a whim, worse, on a burning need to spend her inheritance money on another crazy scheme and an ad for a bar and guesthouse.
Did it even exist? True hoped so.
It existed all right. A bar in need of elbow grease with some magic attached, a guesthouse that looked as if it was stuck in the eighties, and let's not mention the shipwreck on the beach that freaked True out.
Then trouble showed up; an alpha with a grudge, a vampire with a drinking problem, and ghosts from the past. There was also the little matter of not having any staff.
What were a couple of witches to do? Call for backup.
When four and a half witches showed up, the alpha knew he had a problem, but that was only the start; his troubles were growing by the minute.
