(1957)
A novel by

Rafe Harding was given a simple task by his aunt: go to the South American village of San Roque and safely bring back her favorite nephew, Wilmot Foy. Rafe thought it would be a lark. But when he entered San Roque the first thing he encountered is a frightened girl-and murder. But his troubles are just starting, because he then meets the Jefe de Policia, one Senor Ramon Ortega Felipe del Castelar y Mantessa, and everything gets a little crazy. There's either a homicidal maniac or a malicious cougar roaming the San Roque area. And either one spells, 'ow you say, trouble, for one Rafe Harding.
