The sleepy town of Shale, West Virginia is the last place anyone would expect to find a serial killer, but that’s precisely what restauranteur, and amateur sleuth, Hannah Cooper, hears from a trusted friend. He confides to her that there’s a murderer in town, and it looks like they’re about to strike again.
Hannah wants to help, but without much evidence and with no idea who the next target might be, there isn’t much that she can do. The stakes are raised, however, when one of Hannah’s favorite customers mentions that she feels like someone is watching her, and that every night they seem to come a little bit closer.
With the help of her friends, Hannah decides that she has to try to help this woman, but can the three of them survive going up against a seasoned killer?
