Secrets of the Past

After growing up in an orphanage, Lizzie Bartholomew goes into service. As a maid in a select academy for young ladies, she meets the wilful Sarah Chamerlain. When Sarah leaves in disgrace, Lizzie does not expect to hear from her again - until she receives a letter asking her to be Sarah's personal maid. Life is much better in the great house at Hyde Park Square. Both Lizzie's parents were in service in the same area but when she asks if anyone remembers them, she gets more than she bargained for.
