Death is not the end…
Brighton wasn’t sure how she would go on after the death of her daughter and the loss of her granddaughter. She and Remy moved back into Hangman’s House to be closer to Kinsley’s memory, and they found so much more.
It’s not exactly the same as having her there in the flesh, but a ghost isn’t any less of a witch…
Meri is there, too, except when he goes on his extended excursions to check up on his new monster. All in all, it’s not perfect, but it’s far from the worst. Brighton knows she has to bide her time, and her family will be back together someday.
