It's their world, we're just living in it.

Staff Sergeant Henry Wells feels like he's seen it all. When he finds himself sitting on a month of leave after his latest deployment, the Green Beret spends it in the Montana badlands with his brother. He hasn't seen his paleontologist brother in years, but digging up old bones and cooking for grad students seems like a welcome break from the endless training and chaos of his last ten years.

Little does he know six objects entered the solar system. Their target is Earth. Massive cylinders fill the sky. Landing ships race towards the ground, and one is heading towards Montana.

For millions of years ago, the rocky crags didn't exist. Shoreline ran as far as the eye could see. The Earth's original masters are returning, and they are troubled to see their Homeworld Occupied.
