Penthia can kill the corrupted with magic, heal the dying and is learning to do even more, bring back the dead. It makes her indispensable in war, but it has a cost even she isn’t willing to admit.
With her battle-cat Felidae, she arrives just in time to turn impossible battles into desperate victories. Each triumph should push the enemy back. Instead, something adapts to her tactics, appearing where she struggles to get to and vanishing before she can destroy it.
