By teenager Harry Pritchard's own admission, he's a dork. At school he's taunted and bullied, at home he's weighed down by chores. Harry's mum volunteers him to visit a severely disabled patient, Simon Schofield. After meeting Simon, Harry's life undergoes dramatic - and traumatic - changes.
