This monster brings out the animal in me!
He may be a monster found only in nightmares…
But he was the only one that fought to protect me from being assaulted by humans on my way back home from work.
He saved me.
And then he took me away.
He locks me in his hideaway, not sure what to do with me.
I’m not supposed to know his kind exist.
I’m terrified.
But I’m feeling something else I’m trying to put my finger on.
When I see him defend me from other monsters who come to feast on me. Or when I teach him about ways to control his rage and he shows me around his world of darkness.
I don’t know if this is the right word, but I think I’m also feeling…
