During the last great gold rush of 1897, more than a hundred thousand raced toward the Yukon, headed for fortune. Among them were two gamblers involved in their own race to see who could get there first to establish a gambling casino and divest the stampeders of their newfound wealth. Shipwreck Kelly earns his name when his ship, carrying the disassembled Alhambra casino, founders off the Alaskan coast. Challenging him is Diamond Jack McGowan, sailing his floating casino through the frozen northern waterways, racing Kelly for the gold!
