A malfunctioning alien-dimensional weapons test on a faraway planet had a horrible side effect. Thousands of planets had sections that had been swapped at random. Scott Walker and Sara Jones suddenly find themselves on a new planet. It's not Earth, and they are not alone.
They encounter other stragglers from a different species, a 2-armed, 6-legged centaur-like race. After a rocky start, the stragglers join forces.
