A good book. Sherri and Byron are well-defined characters who lend themselves well to an interesting and unique plot.--Romantic Times Book Reviews

Well written and highly engaging. More than once I found myself on the edge of my seat anticipating what would happen next. I really enjoyed reading this novel as well as others by this author.-- RAWSISTAZ Reviewers

Sherri Pinson owns an upscale, successful spa. She was devastated when her beloved husband was murdered, leaving her to raise their precocious daughter. She is slowly getting it together when Byron Tate intrudes on her sorrow. This takes her near the edge because he is the former close friend that she feels betrayed her husband and caused his death. But she knows well that Byron has just lost his wife and child in a horrible accident and she cannot deny that sympathy. As the daughter's godfather, Byron leans on Sherri to let him back in their life again. He knows things about her late husband that she doesn't know, but he doesn't want to hurt her.

Then Sherri's life is threatened by a deranged killer and Byron knows that he will fight to save her, no matter what the cost to himself.
