This book is the 3rd collection of John Clute's reviews following "Strokes" and "Look at the Evidence" Of the 125 pieces included in "Scores" three are essays. One serves as an introduction, and one as a postlude - the other being an extended entry from "The Encyclopedia of Fantasy". The rest of the book, which runs to 214000 words, is given over to reviews of about 200 SF and Fantasy books.
