A novel by

Jack Sullivan, the Specialist, is the toughest action hero of them all.

He's fought around the world, settling personal scores and taking his revenge on those who have wronged him.

When he learns that a murderous mastermind named Legion has hired a small army of street thugs to terrorize, vandalize and force innocent tenants out of their apartments to create a dope and prostitution headquarters, he knows that this is a job he can't refuse.

Despite being warned by Bonnie, his friend, former lover and private investigator, to only provide protection for the victimized tenants, Sullivan can't help but engage with the case personally.

Unknown to Sullivan, Legion takes a contract on his life with Anthony Fabrizzio, a.k.a. Tony the Chill, the ultimate assassin with over a hundred dead victims as emblems of his expertise.

Suddenly what initially seemed like a straight-forward job becomes much more complicated as the hunter becomes the hunted ...

When Bonnie's life is endangered by Legion's vendetta, Sullivan experiences a rage that can only led to one thing ...

So the game tightens up and The Specialist becomes a ... One Man Army.
