Moving from the city to be a small-town doctor was supposed to simplify my life. It worked, too.
Until I met her.
Getting involved with patients is wrong. I know that. But after Penny left my office late one night, I was worried. There was a storm on the way, and she was all alone.
Then I made a house call and Mother Nature decided to play matchmaker.
Because by the end of the night, we were snowed in together. And the more time I spent with her, the more I wanted.
