Palmville Fall Fest Turns Deadly
The annual fall festival at Palmville is in full swing when a resident dies in a golf cart mishap.
Freak accident? The Pink Veranda Club isn't convinced. The road where the cart toppled is flat and straight, with no obvious reason for the crash. Very soon, the rumors begin.
A known rival was seen arguing with the victim. A maintenance worker nearly lost his job because of him. And a young bartender in town may have had reason to fear him.
As Mary and her fellow sleuths start asking questions, they are thwarted by Palmville security and the local police.
