Murder at Midnight Beach

Maggie Stuart is the new kid on the block on an island off the coast of Georgia called Midnight Beach. It is the first day of school of her senior year. First she meets a convertible packed with smart alecks. The driver is the head cheerleader named Mary Beth. In order to join their gang Maggie must spend the night in the cemetery, though no one can do that and expect to stay alive. Every night at midnight a light appears over a certain grave. A woman from the murky past walks the cemetery and calls out to strangers to loan her a lantern. She is scared of the dark. But if you so much as look at her face, by morning you, too, will be dead.
