Berry goes on a biking trip with the junior class to Sunwapta Falls Resort. Within hours of her arrival she is almost killed twice. First someone lures her down to the old wooden bridge over the Sunwapta River, right beside the falls. Aprankster seems to be crawling underneath the bridge pulling at her shoes. When she attempts to go after him, she falls over the edge and clings on for her dear life.
Next she decides to take a shower at the campground bath house. While she is shampooing her hair, a rainstorm starts. A tree branch cracks the window. Water starts pouring in. Before she knows it, the wall collapses. A wave of water is rolling right for her. In the midst of the wave she sees a face.
What is going on? Who keeps on calling her name, Berry? Above all, why does the big rock in the center of the falls seem to have a carved face, a face with eyes that keep on watching her?
Genre: Young Adult Fantasy
