Crisis at Farsis
(2026)(The first book in the Dark Nebulae: Convergence series)
A novel by M D Cooper
Farsis saw an ambassador. They forgot the war queen.Ambassador Rika came to Farsis to judge whether the system deserved a jump gate. Instead, President Estee sprang a trap—pinning the Overwatch beneath stasis-shielded missiles and threatening to massacre a hundred thousand refugees unless Rika hands over gate technology.
Captain Kylie chases General Mulke and his stolen stasis tech across the Lupus Cloud, forced to work with Nadine—the ex-lover who betrayed her. Nadine's intel is solid: Mulke is running for Farsis, carrying the one prize that would make Estee's threats unstoppable.
Admiral Heather's Marauders are one jump away, unaware their old commander needs them.
Three crews (plus one tactical cat). One hostile system. A president willing to murder millions for an empire.
When the call comes, the Marauders will answer. The question is what will be left when they arrive.
Genre: Science Fiction
