A compelling, uplifting, romantic adventure set against the backdrop of the French and Italian Riviera.

Aggie Sutcliffe, an accomplished author of the “bonkbuster” genre has been suffering from disturbing recurring dreams, and decides to give up her writing to research and understand why this is happening to her.

What follows catapults her into a whole new world, a completely different life to the one she has led. Innovative research is being done by reputable companies throughout the world via epigenetics and there is proof that memory, especially trauma, can be stored in your DNA and passed down through the generations.

Her new path of discovery takes her to Menton on the French Riviera and across the border into Italy to the ancient village of Dolceacqua, where she experiences an overwhelming feeling of déjà vu. She meets an unlikely romantic admirer and enjoys the awakening of her almost forgotten sexuality.

Aggie agrees to travel to the prestigious Denna Institute in New York and be regressed through hypnotism by a skilled professional. These sessions trigger an intensity to her dreams, they become very real.

Aggie is compelled to liberate herself from the trauma carried through to her by her five maternal ancestors.

Accompanied by her Italian lover they engage with the world of Art History and what is revealed alters the rest of her life.
