Long Way Down

Candi Moran is in trouble. A Miami loan shark named La Salle wants her dead because she knows too much about his secret project in the Caribbean. She gets shot and turns to Sam Mackenzie for help. Sam is good with a gun and takes on the job but soon learns that Candi left out some dangerous details. Details that can get them both killed. He unravels a serpentine trail of crime that leads through Miami, Grand Cayman and Mexico. La Salle has others after him, too, for what he took to finance his project.
