While waiting for their plane at the Manchester International Airport, Mark Darlington and his senior researcher, Jenny, witness a dreadful explosion in which Jenny is seriously injured. When a second blast destroys one of the emergency vehicles responding to the disaster, all evidence seems to indicate that it is a terrorist plot. The terrorist activity escalates and Mark is engaged by MI5 to track down the guilty party. In a high-octane case that takes him behind enemy lines in Syria, Mark is instrumental in destroying one of Islamic State's training camps. On his return to England, however, he begins to have doubts as to the real identity of the perpetrators of the explosions.
DUMMY RUN is a fast-paced action thriller which will keep the reader turning the pages to the very end. It has an exciting climax with more than a few surprises on the way.
