Christmas in Bell Ridge
(2026)(A book in the Men of Clarence County series)
A Story by Tilly H Colson
Lou Campenelli knows what it means to protect and serve, but these days, the former Marine is more about lifting weights than dodging bullets. Running his gym in Bell Ridge keeps him busy, especially with a family full of sisters and rambunctious nephews constantly pulling him in a dozen directions. Yet when he finds a single mom and her young daughter stranded on the side of the road, Lou discovers his quiet life is about to take a heartwarming-and dangerous-turn.
Marigold Summers isn't looking for a hero. She's just trying to keep her five-year-old daughter Layla safe. Bell Ridge starts to feel like just the place to do that, especially with Lou offering her a place to stay above his gym, and a job as his new administrative assistant. But when an unexpected disaster floods the apartment she and Layla are staying in, Lou opens his own home to them. Slowly, the walls Marigold built around her heart begin to crumble.
As Bell Ridge transforms into a holiday wonderland, Lou and Marigold's connection deepens over twinkling lights, steaming cups of cocoa, and a Christmas festival filled with laughter and love. But just as the season starts to feel magical, Marigold's past comes knocking, threatening the fragile peace she's found.
Now Lou must prove that he can keep his promise to protect Marigold and Layla to give them the safe, love-filled Christmas they deserve. Will hope, courage, and the magic of the season be enough to save them from someone determined to steal their happiness?
Genre: Romantic Suspense
