Except that now she’s got more sand than she could ever have imagined – she’s on the run in the South Australian desert with three precious eggs in her bag and murderous enemies on her tail, and the only person by her side is a guy who she met once three years ago.

Prehistoric kangaroo shifter and undercover operative Trent thinks he’s a pretty easygoing guy – but there are some things that can surprise even him.
