It is a spinoff from the Vendetta Series by Leigh Kenzie. It can be read as a standalone although best enjoyed after reading Vendetta. It does overlap with Crimson Bonds by Abrianna Denae and Leigh Kenzie. While reading that series will give more depth, it is not required.
