Being a sheriff comes with great responsibility. Being an O’Rourke comes with high expectations. From a young age, my family taught me about both, which were fundamental in shaping me into the man I am today. Sheriff Kelly O'Rourke. When I moved back home to Vista Green to take over the sheriff’s job, I knew I was going to be given more responsibility than ever before. Now, I have an entire town looking to me to protect them. Among them is the new resident, Madison Holtby, and her daughter, Zoe. As soon as I saw Maddy, I knew I had to have her, so when we finally meet, it's frustrating when things don’t go to plan. In fact, we collide at every turn. But she's sweet, sexy, and independent, despite the rough path she has travelled to get here. She makes me feel things I never thought I wanted to feel but have unknowingly craved. I want to get lost in her. But murder waits for no man. A serial killer is targeting Vista Green, and it's my job to catch the monster. Mystery and murder surround our town. Pasts come back to haunt us. The present is ready to cause pain.
Protecting the town is what's expected of me.
Keeping Maddy safe from my past is my responsibility. And I will do my duty. I will protect and serve.

Even if it kills me.
