Dain's first mission as a Wraith looked like it would be an easy one.
He should have known better...
Dain's training as a Wraith - A highly trained group of Mercenaries led by Magi - had not been easy. He was not a naturally athletic man, and his squad mates had chosen him to be the butt of their jokes since day one.
When their first mission out of bootcamp comes in, it's a simple escort mission on a Magi Dynasty ship. Dain is secretly pleased, but his squad mates are keen to get out on the field of battle.
Once on the ship, the squad is relegated to a comfortable side room, much to their distaste.
Things couldn't look much easier, but the Magi that's assigned to them is a childhood friend of Dain's and is one more reason for his squad mates to tease him.
But when the ship makes a stop part way through their mission, things take a sudden turn for the worse, and his squads wish for battle is suddenly realised.
