Someone is murdering true crime podcasters.
Jude Delgado-Ruiz is a young, hungry attorney who’s looking to make a name for himself and bolster the reputation of the prestigious private firm where he is employed.
It looks like he’ll get to prove himself when his mentor offers him his first solo assignment representing a firefighter accused of murder. And not just one murder, but a string of murders.
The victims? Young podcasters who had each done an episode on the same thirty-year-old case. It seems to be the only link between the victims, but why would their true-crime podcasts draw the ire of a killer who’d remained invisible for so long? And why would a young man who had no apparent ties to the original murder want to kill these modern young women?
The defense seems straightforward at first, but when a witness turns up dead and his client’s alibis start to crumble, Jude finds himself caught between his own obligations under the Sixth Amendment and his moral misgivings about freeing a potential serial killer.
Genre: Mystery
